Pulmonaria

B3B3 Posts: 27,477

I have a pulmonaria, with beautiful markings. It's pure white with dark green blotches.

Is there any way I can propagate it without risk to the parent plant?

Usual way is to take rooted pieces off.

I find dividing them works well.

Thanks, I'd hoped that maybe leaf cuttings would work. I'm afraid to dig it up even though I know they're tough as old boots! Maybe I'll do it next year.image

Do it when the autumn comes, after the ground gets wet. Then you'll have new leaves by spring. cut all the old ones off. I've posted them with just a bit of root and all the leaves off and as far as I know they grow, Several forum members can confirm (or not).

    Never fails

Phillippa that sounds like a plan. Maybe it won't even notice if I do it in the autumn as nut suggests.
