i have pruned my leylandii back and have a lot of cuttings i do not have a compost bin but was wondering as i am making raised beds can i place them at the bottom and put my soil on top for nutrients . thanks

Cut the leylandii up if you can before composting, and mix it with softer matter, like kitchen waste.
