Blasted iPhone !!! Didn't upload the message will repost full details later but if you happened to watch the programme on Friday - it was pictured in the segment with the woman from daisy roots nursary. It's the one that looks like a pink bottle brush!

hi, that is persicaria bistorta 'superba' it's a semi-evergreen perennial and makes good ground cover. hope that helps

I'm sure it's persicaria, too.  There are reds and pale pink ones &, ref. RHS, varieties such as 'Dimity', 'Donald Lowndes',and 'Superba' are shades of pink.  Leaves often turn red in autumn.  Check out in the RHS encyclopaedia.
