I'm not very IT orientated person and have had difficulty validating my account. I still don' know if I have done it.

Croeso, BarbaraH! Instead of 'smilies', here's a 'posy pic' to welcome you:

This 'hippo' is currently delighting us in our shower room - I think it likes the steamy heat?

It's red cousin, though, is rather less flambouyant!

Hi, Barbara, Welcome to the forum,

Any tips on working an allotment would be most helpful in my camp, I became the proud owner a few weekends ago of an over grown one and at present the experience is back breaking and somewhat daunting. Grown veg in the back garden for several years now but I really didn't to know what to do next, last weekend on the plot.

Hi Barbara - you've obviously 'done it' as here we all are!  I'm sure you'll enjoy the exchange of knowledge on this forum - it's also very entertaining!
