I also went to B&Q today and brought some plants that had been reduced by more than 75%. Most of them had been damaged by the frost but were still alive, only a couple of leaves had died down. And some were literally just bone dry and were reduced because of that!!! Watered them when i got back and they sprung up like new ) £30 worth of plants for £12 (something along those lines)

I got 2 primula vialii from sainsbury homebase for 1.50 each, planted the root and they are up and away now! Bargains to he had if you look hard enough. I also got seed tatties for ??1 as. The spruts had stared to come through the bags, they are now in buckets in the conservatory!

Went to mine today in search of bargains, left without anything. The only good thing about this cold spring is that many places are likely to have discounts or sales on plants very soon.
