do any one know when to prune this plant as mine has got very big.thanks


Deadhead all the flowered shoots now, and prune back to the rosettes of leaves. If you give it a bit of feed, it will start flowering again soon.

Just generally tidy it up. It's a bit late to take cuttings now,but if you cut off any likely shoots, you could give it a go for replacement plants for next year.


If its more than say 3 years old I would replace it.  They quickly become leggy and less,floriferous and look quite tatty. Cuttimgs  are easy....agree with fidget to try and take cuttings now.
