Night everyone. Here I am again, a lonely little petunia in an onion patch. No-one to talk to.

Time for bed said Zebedee

Aww, missed you WW.

"To bed, to bed," said Sleepy Head
''Let's tarry awhile", said Slow
''Put on the pot", said greedy Scott,
"We'll sup before we go"

Definitely going now.

Like the poem! Reminds me if this wonderful one by Eugene Field

Cheery bye one and all!

Just popping in to say, I know the poem, but for us the third line is

"Put on the pan, says Greedy Nan"

See you this evening folks!

Feeling very cold around Peterborough. 7C but doesn't feel like it. Disappointing after yesterday.

Piddled with rain for most of the day today. Planted some more seeds indoors - lupins, canterbury bells, a blue primula called noverna deep blue. There weren't many seeds in the free packet, but I'm hoping for the best.

I've done lots of potting on of seeds planted earlier and almost feel like a real gardener!

Evening all bit wet today rested a bit- then got a bit dryer out so planted a small hellebore out. Finished filling the new garden waste wheelie bin with the branches/ twigs.

Nutcutlet spring was weekend here, then went bit cold and wet again, want it a bit more like the weekend was here warm and sunny

Done nothing except pop to local prescinct to take light back, for the second time.  Been quite chilly. Neighbour about to erect new fence, so that will be nice. At the moment it is being propped up from both sides.  Oh, yes, tried to sort solar lights out after chopping through wires.  Much prefer those that don't have any.

Evening all  Bit chilly here in Norfolk too - but we've been promised better things and I've got Monday off as well as the weekend

Bought Shredded Wheat in Sainsbury's on offer at £2 which is a good price anyway and there is a free packet of seeds inside too. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. I will sell the seeds at village plant sale for the Hortisoc funds. Probably illegal. Please don't tell trading standards.

Shredded Wheat!  Years since I had that.  Think I'll add some to Tesco order.  Make a change.

Heavy rain here this afternoon (just as I'd finished work)! Spent a little time with my girls ......bought 4 chucks at the weekend, a new venture for me..... No gardening done today. My sweet peas which I started off indoors are now out in the greenhouse but are really leggy, I've pinched the tops out, will they really improve???
I'm off to Coventry early tomorrow for the weekend, annual conference for work and forecast says that we are in for a warm Sunday so I will be dashing back home hopefully in time for a couple of hours in the garden late afternoon. Hope you all have a productive gardening weekend.
