Not fussed about bikkies, have you any crisps Tina?

KEF...

I have Kitkats....

I'm thinking of making a banana loaf cake- but I'd eat it most of it myself...

Yes, got crisps, not that I eat them.  Only Monster Munch as they are for grandchildren.  Rather fancy some of Archiepem's apple crumble.  Love any fruit crumble.  It's my favourite.  Might add that to my goodie list, just a little individual one.  Dare not make one because I will eat the lot.

Sun's shinning but it's still cold.

The wind is starting to blow pretty hard here. Rain has stopped for the moment. I'm postponing going to get groceries to feed family when they visit next weekend by playing about on this forum, since OH has gone out and can't see how much time I am spending on my backside on the sofa!

TT, since I am about to visit the supermarket, this is a bad time to mention apple crumble! I'm not supposed to be buying biscuits, cake or pies. See that flying porker over there...?

I'm sitting here watching the rain/hail and wondering if there'll be a big enough gap before the next shower to mow some paths around the meadow. OH did the rest of the mowing yesterday, wise man

At the risk of sounding like Homer....Mmmm ....crumble......

and definitely with custard Archie

KEF-  I'm very good at fairy cakes....well - I would be wouldn't I??

Cake sounds like an excellent idea- a salad really doesn't appeal right now.Or that crumble sounds really yummy

23/05/2013 at 15:34

Rain , strong winds,and cold,.....

Crumble sounds good Fairygirl, but could you stop just thinking about making a banana loaf cake and make one please.............that sounds delicious.

Gilly- it's in the oven now!

Be about an hour and a quarter till it comes out. Some sultanans in it, soft brown sugar...

23/05/2013 at 15:39

What's salad.

23/05/2013 at 15:43

It's that green stuff Tina....up here we deep fry it with the mars bars....

23/05/2013 at 15:54

I make that due to come out of the oven at about  six minutes to five just the time for a nice cuppa,or does it have to cool down first? I hope not,can you have it with cream?

23/05/2013 at 16:24

Yeh needs to cool down Gilly- I'll just put it outside for 5 minutes in the sub zero wind- that'll do the trick...

Cream...mmm...I just have it as it comes- but you have whatever you want on it!

23/05/2013 at 16:28

On my way, just hunting out my thermals.

23/05/2013 at 16:30
