Got coldframe from our local free cycle, had to get a couple of pieces of glass cut but it has been brill for starting our babies off (seedlings), easy to make from any bits of wood and perspex or glass, old windows.

I wish with all my heart that I could grow salad in my cold frame, BUT here in NEW BYTH we can't even think of using the cold frame until the end of April earliest. By the way New Byth is 6 miles outside of TURRIFF, but the weather is nothing like TURRIFFS.
