viburnum beetle

Help does anyone know how to get rid of the beetles that make holes in my viburnum leaves ? the leaves are now beginning to look like lace curtains

  • If you go to the rhs website, there's a list there of suitable sprays for controlling them, of if your'e organic, you can just pick them off.

  • According to a clipping I have from GW magazine, by this time of year they've done their worst, and you may as well wait until the spring before spraying. But I'd keep an eye on them - I have just noticed some damage to my (enormous) viburnum and am watching it carefully.
