Come and say Hello. I will be on the Members Plant Stall most of the day.
Perhaps a tad far! Will send you my private helicopter. (Believe that if you can!!!!!!!!!!!)
Doubt there will be any Hepaticas on show on Sunday. Wrong season.
Dianthus and Campanulas are the most likely to be in flower at this time of year.
This is not really a show as such it is more an opportunity for people to see that Alpines are not difficult or rare or hard to grow or come by. They are for everyone. Ideal plants for the smaller gardens of today as you can fit an awful of them into a smaller space. AND, they are not al Spring flowering things either.
Aethionema grandiflorum
Genista procumbens
Auricula Piers Telford
Saponaria ocymoides
Just a few of the ones I grow.
Gorgeous, just what I am trying to achieve on my 'new' rockery. Wish I could come, bit far from the Dordogne though.
I hope you have a good turnout for the day and the weather is kind.
