Lottie, we are hoping to go to Wisley when we go to England in April or June or both, depending how much time we have visiting friends and relations. We lived in New Malden in Surrey when first married (1st OH) and went to Wisley several times, then we moved to Kent and went to Sissinghurst several times. I expect Wisley has changed since then (70s).

Bunny, you are being very secretive about where you want to go. Would you just say north, south east or west? I thought you'd only recently started your garden. How long have you been in your present place?

Why don't Sainsburys want birds nesting in their trees? I thought England was meant to be getting very wild life friendly.

If birds nest in the trees they cannot move them or chop them down - I think

Bjay, love your dog, just my sort of choice. My favourite breeds are Border Collie then Spaniel.

18/03/2013 at 14:56

He's a mix of the 2

The dog or the baby??

No secret ... France /Spain / somewhere not here. Been here since 05 ...caravan , built house , decided to do again , housing crash , house remained on market as hopeless agents wants 4k costs for advertising which hasn't done, we left on market thought we would just stay .... If sold now would have to be around for parents these days , eventually away from this country

Is that you Geoff ?
18/03/2013 at 15:09

Pam that sounds about right for the netting on the trees - its all up one end of the car park, looks very odd (and not small trees we're talking about). Didn't know there were plans to extend the store, but I'm not surprised.

Awwhh, Geoff - I bet that baby's all grown up now!

Am guessing Bunny can't move too far west or she will be in the sea!

18/03/2013 at 15:10

Lizzie, let us know when you're around!

18/03/2013 at 15:16

My dog, Tigger, but I've sent him before - it's just that people are doing it now.

http://s4.gardenersworld.com/uploads/images/original/20075.jpg?width=267&height=350&mode=max

Tigger is the only Border Collie I've had who doesn't roll in smells. Cassie liked fox and dead animals and Ned liked cow pats, Meggie liked pond and river water (and the mud round the edge!) and Freckles liked to knock over the kitchen bin and roll in the contents

I prefer herbs to verbs

Becks has come in to put her heels back on

Afternoon dean

18/03/2013 at 15:26

Everything too wet here, its pouring. And there was a clap of thunder a little while ago. Glad I didn't go out.
