Have walked dogs - they not sure why they went out earlier than usual but I have a busy day - helping in dog rescue shop this afty, giving dog rescue talk this evening. Coffee and crumpet break now

Don't know what to do. Apart from go to the GH and prick out seedlings.

Sounds like a good solution Liz

Hehehehehe Bunny

Well it might be sunny out there, but brass monkeys a better description.

Fed birds, wrapped up the new Hellebore pot & tucked it near a part-shade wall. Ditto the basil mint pot, which the frost 'caught' earlier this yr. It now looks happier having been in a cold frame for a bit, but I know will forget to water, so have put it against a warm wall. Will trim off the frosted tops sometime, but lot of new growth waiting. Then can repot into bigger later, along with my normal mint which the frost split the flower bucket was using. J.

I've just disobeyed OH and been into the garden to hang washing on the line - I did wrap up warm and had woolly hat on - but the sun's shining and there's a good breeze and the bedlinen  has to be washed at least once a year

Hello, back

see Bunny has now got a beige fixation

No plants that I wanted today but they have these standard cistus trees, some are white, some are red, quite liked idea of the red one in a pot by the front door but guy says he has no way of telling which is which as all the labels have fallen off. He said they will be selling them off in a couple of weeks - I'll be there.

Car said a tropical 6C!

I think Lizzie, best solution to all thiings difficult is to go and potter in the GH

The sun is shining on the garden, but we still have some deep snow, so can't do much. Might go out an see if I can move some of it off the plants. My dwarf lilac in a pot is covered most of the way up the plant. And the bamboo.

Weighed in Geoff!

While I was pottering in the greenhouse, wonderful OH sorted my laptop by installing a more up to date version of whatever it was. But now it probably means I need to log in here as Busy-Lizzie has gone!
