Cake/pudding is out of oven and cooling, anyone fancy a slice, it's Apricot and Almond, with Creme Fraiche.

I have just had a wander round the garden and picked a few chrysanthemums. I love this colour. They are from a pot I bought as a house plant.

Chris- am I correct in thinking cuttings from a house plant will produce 'water shoots' in a vase? J.

geoff- I can never keep on here. I'm going to wait a while but I know I'll get another cat at some point.

Radio 4 is now on at home.........., It started in the car but now it's evaded the living room

Jo. I've never tried with chrysanths. I just kept the original and did them in the spring, in the normal way, and kept the plant itself and that grew ok. The only thing is that the flowers are a lot smaller because I don't disbud them. I like the smaller flowers better anyway.

Chris, that cake looks lovely! A slice for me please!

Been catching up on posts. Has been a busy week and I haven't had time to pop in properly. Been for a walk into town today as the sun was lovely.
Will have a good browse through later on.

Chris-I will have some if you can do the usual-ta

Hollie-it means you are now officially into middle age-you will soon start complaining about noisy music and the yoof of today.

Check your cyber locker. it's on it's way.

When we went to France earlier in the year, Radio 4 was the only programme we could get, I felt quite educated by the time we got back.

Have a good evening folks, will catch up tomorrow.

Cake looks lovely.

Cleared greenhouse, made room for new staging - £12 from end of last day at Malvern Show complete with seed trays. Pot washing tomorrow is it a squeeze of washing up liquid and a splash of Jeyes Fluid?

Emptied grow bags onto rhubarb bed.

Had bath to ease aches and pains,

Just made some scones for a sort of cobbler type pud. Cooked apple/raspberries with cooked scones on top.

Just remembered Becks

They do what they say on the 'tin' I call them my outside slippers. Sorry don't know how to post the link. They are SO useful.

Just back from the football, we won 4-1 so the dog's safe for the night (it's ok, we haven't actually got a dog  ). And we're still top of League 2.

Other half is watching Star Wars so I've exiled myself until the 'singing' starts.

Leggi we are in a very small club that watches XF-it seems to have only 3 members

20/10/2012 at 18:30

That's very sad news Geoff, we must be the only three with taste then.

20/10/2012 at 18:33

Small- but select

Already the incessant clapping has started on SCD
