Daughter just sent me oversize Christmas stocking back with OH. Think she's suggesting something? It will do for the 2 of them and their cats.

Might be able to get out of the Xmas do - boss is checking if he can give a 'gift' without upsetting the taxman!

I saw the 'meggings' article. Son no. 1 sometimes borrows my leggings to wear under his work trousers if his thermals are in the wash! He says they're just as good so I'm now trying them - am wearing leggings under my jeans. Just need to sort out something to keep my feet warmer now. Feel a bit silly using my foot warmer at work! 

I know the feeling Lottie - 2 pair of socks, furry boot slippers and my feet are still freezing even though the rest of me is warm.

Crikey- better to do a quiz update before bed-time

Drat, my vision has started to play up. Can still 'see' though it all, but if driving I do stop & pull over.

Will drive down to hospital tomorrow, I walked today. Appointment just too early to get my act together for a 35mins treck at rush hour. All being well should be out soon so can go & do my usual midweek shop & some other chores.

Still thinking about daughter's meal. I'll be fine with just soup but she'll want something more- better go check what got in freezer. Was planning to do a list of contents later anyway before I go shopping tomorrow.

Also waiting on the boiler starting to whistle- anytime now.... It woke me nicely (!) just before my alarm went off this morning. J.

I ran a cleaner that cleans the cache-clears all temporary files

Jo, am sure you weren't lady muck when you were the bosses wife. This one really takes the biscuit.

Had to pick up my brother from my house at lunchtime today (he was bringing back my car and needed a lift to the station). I made a quick lunch of scrambled eggs - and he asked me how you do that! And he's got hens!! How can a man get to his late 40's raise 3 kids (become a grandad) and not know how to make scrambled eggs?? His twins get boiled eggs for breakfast.

Fancy some chocolate now. Got some in the drawer
