Dramatic grey clouds sweeping in from the northwest now - it's getting dark very quickly here.  Forecast is for dry and cloudy overnight - hum, those clouds look as if they mean business to me.

Good day

I have one of those sauce boats - great

Had news that last night was bad, now not quite so bad. GD was very ill so son was advised to take her to hospital (she's 1) On way to hospital they had a car crash and car is written off. A witness took GD on to hospital with her Mum. Police took Son there when crash was sorted. They all have minor injuries but are recovering. GD has a bad lung infection and is really poorly, phoned abut an hour ago and they had just been talking to hospital again (she is home)

Thank goodness I still have family - car can be replaced

Spent the day worrying and we made plans in case we need to go up there-about 3 1/2 hours away

Evening all

Been out doing the tree planting saplings at Sholing Valley study centre, was a dry day not too bad weather wise today, spitting after a break so done tree planting till lunch - there was lots of hard brick like soil to plant the tree saplings in and it was knackering.

can anyone guess how many I planted?

Also planted out an Acanthus and some Campion in their garden to look at in spring, it had a few bare patches last time we went.

lunch nice, then as the volunteer had brought our tyre planter back as the men at his work could not do it.

Was trying to finish turning the tyre into a planter really difficult one to do lots of muscle and strength needed, was trying to do it on my own for ages bit more turned but hurt myself a bit then help from others and we made it finally after a long time.

So that will be up the station some when and planted up, not trying one with a wheel rim in again too stiff and hard too do

not been that well after a bit of lunch and tyre wrestling rather icky, sick - not nice, resting now watching TV

Gg I have said before that i don't know where you get your energy and drive. I guess 20 trees, if I know you. Now put your feet up for a bit… or maybe a week?
