Clari, glad you have the ring picked out. Mine came from Tiffany (bought with bonus from work, and not as expensive as may be thought. Add to that, it was a while ago )
Haven't had a need for my handbag smile this week. Can't be bad! I think it was getting out in the garden that set me up for a good week Let's not forget you lot too
Off to watch Bake off for Sport Relief. Catch you all later
Hope you feel better soon Archie
Have a good evening all. Off to bed to read, H watching footie.
Glad AP's ok Dove and handbag closed Panda.
Just keep struggling along Archie
Hi Panda, glad you're feeling good this week. Wow Tiffanys, lucky girl, just need him to get down on one knee
A good roast beef dinner or a kick on shins usually brings a chap to his knees. Right deffo' off now before the chaps on the forum get me.
Early to bed Kef, must be a good book nite nite.
My OH has been on his knees! Well, he proposed at Kings Cross Station. He used to live in Scotland and I was in Essex. I'm the bad child that broke her ring! Never doing flat pack again!
Oh dear, Panda, can't you get it mended? Thursday tomorrow then two sleeps and its the weekend yay!!
Just got in from garden lecture on magnolias. Fascinating fact for you - magnolia Leonard Messel will have whiter flowers if the weather is cold when the flowers are forming in early spring, and pinker if it is warm. Will be watching mine carefully in future! Had a lovely evening - its great listening to people who are passionate about their subject - lifts the soul
Ooh will try and remember that Chicky, you'll have to put pics of your magnolia on to show us. Always fancied getting a magnolia.
Morning all - only 2 days til the weekend!
does anyone know when the GC's start stocking this years seeds? Went to the GC on Monday and it was only last years stock on sale, and very limited choice. Had to ensure it was not a wasted journey by investing in a half price winter honeysuckle (smelt sooo good, it had to be rescued) - which is currently on trial in the courtyard to see if the deer will leave it alone.
Chicky you're up far too early! My local GC already has this years tempting seeds in. Perhaps they didn't have as much old stock that needed using up.
Have a great day everyone xx
I think the GC will now be stocking new seeds, sundries etc and prob starter perennials. Will pop in soon as the urge to kick start the gardening year is increasing
Morning early birds.
I've not been looking at seeds yet, think I have too many already.
Chicky winter honeysuckle sounds great, might have to see if my local GC has anything worth rescuing, didn't have last time I accidentally popped in.
I love Magnolias but don't have the room and too exposed.
Hope time flies by at work.
Morning all. Tired eyes here, but am plowing on Not a great looking day here, but at least I am stuck in an office!
I'm going to try seeds again this year (very very little reurn last year and am not sure why). Quite fancy a magnolia and maybe a Rowan. . . we'll see!
Have a good day all
Same to you Panda
Raining again!! Grrrrr, so fed up with this weather.
No work for me today, thank goodness, so very tired this morning. Didn't sleep very well last night. Will have a lazy day today.
Have a good day everyone. BFN
Enjoy your lazy day Lily. I had your share of sleep.
