This 25-acre botanic garden is set among mature woodlands on the southern outskirts of Durham city. With its collection of plants from all over the world, it offers something new around every corner over the changing seasons. Wander through the alpine garden, winter garden, bamboo grove, glasshouses, woodland garden and a wildflower meadow grazed by rare-breed sheep.
