Explore the world’s oldest topiary garden, designed in the 1690s and adorned with a spectacular array of abstract or geometric shapes, including over 100 ancient box and yew trees. These remarkable and quirky evergreens, clipped and sculpted over the centuries, are complemented by colourful bedding across the seasons. There’s lots more too, including a rose garden, herbaceous borders, an old orchard, bee garden, fountain garden, giant beech hedges and a wilderness garden.
