Walk through the 100m-long Edwardian pergola, woven in roses, clematis and wisteria, to the sunken garden. Follow the stream to the spring garden or explore the hillside arboretum. In the walled garden you’ll find carefully tended vegetables, fruit and cut-flowers, as well as 13 Victorian glasshouses full of chillies, tomatoes, peaches and grapes.
