Step 1

Half fill your pot with multi-purpose compost. Add a measure of slow-release fertiliser and mix well.

Step 2

Add the plants starting with the photinia, carefully removing them from their pots. Pack them in tightly.

Fill in the gaps with compost and firm in. Water well to settle the compost and make sure it never dries out.
