Monty demonstrates how to provide moisture-loving ligularias with optimum growing conditions. He plants three towering and stately ligularia varieties in his Damp Garden – ‘The Rocket’, Ligularia przewalksii and ‘Desdemona’. The Damp Garden at Longmeadow can be flooded two to four times a year, says Monty, but ligularias love the damp conditions this provides.
