While perennials are in full flower, you can easily tell if they fit with your colour scheme. If not, you can move them to a new spot in late summer, as Monty Don demonstrates in this short video clip from Gardeners' World. Watch as he cuts down and digs up a large Helianthus 'Lemon Queen' and moves it from his Jewel Garden to a more suitable position in his Walled Garden.
