Bougainvillea 'Rosa Preciosa' bears clusters of tiny pink-white flowers surrounded by pink bracts. Native to subtropical South America, it's best grown as a houseplant, typically in sunny, humid environments such as a conservatory or greenhouse. However it may be moved outdoors in summmer, or even raised as a tender annual.

For best results grow Bougainvillea 'Rosa Preciosa' in a large container. When pruning, cut back side shoots to three to four buds. Feed with a nitrogen-rich fertiliser when it comes into growth in spring, followed by a potash-rich fertiliser when the flower buds appear. Protect from frost and water sparingly in winter.
