Clematis ‘Blue Ribbons’ is a low-growing, bush-type clematis, bearing urn-shaped, blue-purple flowers in early summer on short stems. It’s perfect for growing in a container where its blooms may spill over the sides, or tied into a framework and encouraged to climb.

Grow Clematis ‘Blue Ribbons’ in moist but well-drained soil or compost, in full sun to partial shade. A Group Two clematis, there's no real need to prune but, if necessary, prune in early spring, removing dead and weak shoots, cutting back to a pair of healthy buds. Avoid heavy pruning as you may reduce its flowering potential.
