Dierama pulcherrimum 'Slieve Donard Hybrids'

Dierama pulcherrimum is a graceful, evergreen perennial, bearing arching stems of bell-shaped pink flowers which dangle above clumps of grassy foliage, resembling a fishing rod. It's perfect for adding movement to a sunny border, and works well when planted with ornamental grasses.

Dierama pulcherrimum 'Slieve Donard Hybrids' bears paler pink blooms than the species, in June and July. For best results grow in well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny spot. Dierama pulcherrimum 'Slieve Donard Hybrids' isn't suitable for growing in pots. Water freely during the growing season, but avoid excessive winter wet. Cut away old foliage in early spring and if necessary lift and divide congested clumps at the same time.
