Gladiolus colvillei 'The Bride' is a fantastic gladiolus, bearing pretty, delicate white blooms from late-spring to mid-summer. It's perfect for growing in a mixed herbaceous border among more brightly coloured blooms, and makes an excellent cut flower.

Grow Gladiolus colvillei 'The Bride' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Plant bulbs in autumn rather than spring. Not fully hardy, in cooler regions plants may benefit from a winter mulch of manure to protect the corms, or simply lift in autumn to overwinter.
