Lathyrus odoratus ‘Mollie Rilstone’
Sweet peas can be trained to grow up canes for high-quality blooms, or allowed to scramble up a trellis or obelisk. They make excellent cut flowers. Plants need a cool moist root run, and regular watering in dry weather.
Lathyrus odoratus ‘Mollie Rilstone’ bears large, fragrant cream blooms with a pink edge, on long, slender stems. It’s an ideal variety for the show bench or using in home floral displays, but it also looks beautiful when trained up a trellis or obelisk. It grows to a height of 180cm.
For best results, feed Lathyrus odoratus ‘Mollie Rilstone’ fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser, and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
