Lysimachia ephemerum bears spikes of delicate, pure white flowers with pink stamens, above clumps of willowy, green-grey leaves. Flowers are followed by attractive seedpods in autumn. It’s perfect for growing in moist soil with ornamental grasses, for a wild, prairie feel. The blooms are extremely attractive to bees and other pollinators. It makes an excellent cut flower.

Grow Lysimachia ephemerum in moist soil in sun or partial shade. Incorporate plenty of well-rotted manure or compost when planting and mulch annually in spring. Lift and divide congested clumps in spring.
