Origanum 'Kent Beauty' is an ornamental, non-edible oregano or marjoram variety. Unlike edible oreganos, Origanum 'Kent Beauty' is largely grown for its pink flowers which are surrounded by showy pink bracts that resemble hops.
Origanum 'Kent Beauty' will perform best in sunny spots, including in pots or containers, where it will gradually sprawl and tumble as it grows.
For best results, grow Origanum 'Kent Beauty' in full sun in a well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil. This sub-shrub is frost hardy, so will die back in winter but should return in spring. Avoid planting it in areas that are excessively wet in winter.
