Rosa 'Charlotte' is a compact shrub rose with an upright habit and lush green foliage. In summer it bears masses of cup-shaped, soft-yellow flowers with a strong tea-rose fragrance. Extremely hardy, it's well suited to growing in exposed and northerly areas, where hard frosts are common.

It's ideal for growing in a mixed herbaceous border and is also suitable for growing in a large container.

For best results, grow Rosa 'Charlotte' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Prepare the soil well and mulch yearly with well-rotted manure or garden compost. deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering.
