Solanum tuberosum 'International Kidney' is a first early potato, bearing delicious waxy tubers with very thin skin that rarely needs peeling. It's a good choice for forcing in a bag for an early crop in late-spring. The tubers are perfect for using as new potatoes and also in salads.
Grow Solanum tuberosum 'International Kidney' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. For best results dig over the soil well and incorporate plenty of compost or rotted manure before planting. Water the tubers thoroughly two weeks before lifting.
