How is the Flopro + hose made?

This durable midrange hose has a four-layer reinforced construction so it’s less likely to crush, twist or kink. It’s made from algae-resistant material and is also UV resistant and can cope with temperatures up to 60°C and down to -20°C.

What is the Flopro + hose like to use?

Excellent to handle, this hose feels light and comfortable and despite its thick construction is really flexible as you carry or drag it up and down the garden. It only kinked once during our test and this was easily straightened with a quick flick from a distance. It uncoils smoothly and at the end of the day recoils easily on to a reel or by hand.

What jobs is the Flopro + hose best used for?

This hose has a burst pressure of 30 bars so is best used for watering plants by hand or cleaning the car or garden furniture with just a spray gun attachment, rather than attaching to a pressure washer. Flopro + hoses come in three sizes: 15m, 30m and 50m so should suit small and medium gardens.

Is the Flopro + hose good value for money?

At nearly £2.00 per metre of hose this is expensive compared to others in the mid range we tested. However, as it comes with a lengthy 20-year guarantee, is an excellent performer and its four layers should last a long time, we think it's good value for money.
