Life is for celebrating – and we’d love you to join us
We’re excited to invite you to our first BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine reader event at Ridgeview Wine Estate – a rare opportunity to go beyond the tasting room and explore areas of the vineyard not usually open to the public.
Nestled in Sussex’s South Downs National Park, Ridgeview is at the forefront of the English wine industry and has earned global recognition, including being served at Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, King Charles’s first state banquet, and at COP26.
You’ll be guided by Ridgeview’s expert team, including a viticulture specialist and an award-winning winemaker, as you discover how their celebrated English sparkling wines are made – from grape to glass.
Your day includes
- Q&A with a Ridgeview winemaker
- Vineyard tour and talk with Ridgeview’s viticulture expert
- Visit to Ridgeview’s original underground cellar, not usually open to the public.
- Tank tasting in the winery, sampling Ridgeview’s Signature non-vintage blends – an exclusive experience not available to the public.
- A glass of Ridgeview’s Blanc de Blancs Magnum 2010
- Lunch in Ridgeview’s restaurant The Rows & Vine
- Opportunity to explore the estate’s woodlands and browse the shop with an exclusive 10% discount.
- A goody bag to take home.
