The Nordmann fir, Abies nornmannina, is a very handsome, easy to grow, and disease-resistant tree with aromatic dark green foliage. It’s one of the best trees to use as a Christmas tree because it retains its needles well, even when cut. 


Abies nornmannina forms a shapely tree, not too bushy, with good space between the branches. Grow in a rich, free-draining soil in full sun tfor the best results.
