To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Gardeners’ World TV programme, we invited current presenter Monty Don and former incumbent Alan Titchmarsh to share the cover. Months of careful planning paid off and the photoshoot went like a dream - we’re thrilled with the end result.

In this video clip, Gardeners’ World Magazine editor Lucy Hall explains how the shoot came about and how the venue - Rosemary Verey’s garden at Barnsley House - was chosen. Monty and Alan both reflect on their experience of presenting the programme and share their thoughts on its enduring appeal.
