Hypericum olympicum is a dwarf Greek hypericum, forming a dense mound of small, grey-green leaves on upright branching stems. The plants gradually increase in spread by means of horizontal creeping stems, but are not invasive and may be planted safely in rock gardens. In summer the plants sparkle with golden starry blooms, each with a central boss of stamens.

Grow Hypericum olympicum in full sun in very well-drained soil, preferably with added horticultural grit to prevent winter wet. It's ideal for growing at the front of a sunny border or ina rock garden. Plants self-seed readily.
