Hypericum 'Hidcote' is one of the most popular and reliable hypericums, bearing masses of golden yellow flowers up to 5cm across, throughout summer and into autumn. Dense and busy, it's perfect for growing in a mixed or shrub border. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it the Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
Grow Hypericum 'Hidcote' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade, ideally sheltered from cold, drying winds. Prune back annually to prevent it from becoming too large.
