What is the Mitox 600DX hedge trimmer?
This is a petrol hedge trimmer with long double-sided 61cm blades. It has a number of features including a rotating handle and an anti-vibration system.
What is the Mitox 600DX hedge trimmer like to use?
Harder to start than most of the trimmers we tested despite its ‘Smartpull Recoil Assist system’, this hedge trimmer is well balanced to hold and comfortable to use thanks to its anti-vibration system. The rotating handle has four different working positions, making it easy to handle and ideal for gardens with tall hedges – working at height is more comfortable when you can twist the handle into the right position and it cut all our hedges well. The hand guard is made of thin plastic and does feel a bit flimsy.
Who is the Mitox 600DX hedge trimmer most useful for?
With its 4-point rotating handle and comparatively long blade, this is great for bigger gardens with larger or tall hedges. However, it's one of the heaviest we tested so is best suited to stronger, more able gardeners.
Is the Mitox 600DX hedge trimmer good value for money?
This gives an almost professional cut and at £199, with a long five-year warranty, we think this is very good value for money.
