A BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine Best buy award winner these anvil secateurs have a non-stick coated blade and soft comfortable handles. They are simple and easy to use but have power and cut cleanly. They come with a 25-year warranty.
What are the Gardena Comfort Anvil secateurs like to use?
With a strong, non-stick coated blade and plastic anvil these secateurs are light to hold and cut easily and efficiently. The cutting width is wide and they cope with thicker stems well, slicing cleanly through them. The handles are made from plastic and fibreglass and have a soft rubber grip making them warm, non-slip and comfortable on the hand and this helps to take the strain and ease the wrist as you apply pressure when cutting. The safety catch is located on the top of the handle so it’s easy to reach whether you’re holding them with your right or left hand and it’s simple to flick on and off with your thumb. The spring is integrated so it won’t get jammed with soil or prunings and there is a hole at the end of one of the handles so you can hang these up in storage if you wish.
Are the Gardena Comfort Anvil secateurs good value for money?
These high performing, long lasting secateurs are in the mid-price bracket with a 25 year warranty. We think they’re excellent value for money.
Who are the Gardena Comfort Anvil secateurs most useful for?
The handles open wide on these secateurs so they are not suitable for gardeners with small hands. However, they cut well and with strength so they are good for anyone who needs that extra push when cutting through tough, hard branches and stems.
