This is great for larger gardens that need a long, easy-to-use hose that can live outside tidily, neatly and unobtrusively.
Does the Hozelock Fast Reel need much preparation or assembly?
This is supplied ready to use with an extra section of feeder hose already cut with connectors attached. You just need to clip the winding handle into place, which is easy.
What is the Hozelock Fast Reel like to use?
The weight of this helps the reel sit securely even while pulling out the whole 40 metres of hose and an automatic self-layering system means the hose can be rewound quickly without any help from you. This hose is super-smooth and simple to both pull out and wind back in. The chunky twist-grip spray nozzle is also easy to use.
How easy is the Hozelock Fast Reel to store?
The reel feels heavy and bulky and it’s not easy to carry around, so it’s best suited to gardens where the hose can be kept in one place for the season. If you do need to move it, it does have non-drip storage features so it can be stored under cover and like all hose should be drained and stored indoors over winter to avoid frost damage.

This feels very solidly made, with premium quality hose that doesn’t kink or twist. The long warranty gives confidence too.
