The themes of art and science are woven through this historic walled garden. It contains the longest rose archway in Scotland, over a double- helix DNA path, as well as herbaceous borders and a grass labyrinth. In the parterre, you’ll find cut flowers, herbs and espalier apple trees, alongside a unique National Collection of daffodils bred by the owner’s ancestors. Beyond are fern borders and a woodland walk to the ruined Covenanter’s Tomb.

Check before you travel

Always check the garden’s website or call direct before visiting for up-to-date opening times, other ticket price options, and any one-off restrictions which may apply.

Always take your 2-for-1 Gardens card with you. If you’ve booked your tickets under the 2-for-1 Gardens offer, show your card on the day to validate the booking.

Please don’t make multiple bookings or share your 2-for-1 Gardens card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim. You may use the 2 for 1 printed or digital card for admission only once per garden, per day. You cannot use the printed card and digital card at the same venue on the same day.
