In this practical video from Gardeners' World, Monty Don is adding to the late-summer flowers in his bee-friendly border by planting sedums, which will offer nectar-rich blooms from August through to November. Watch as he plants three choice sedum varieties – 'Matrona', 'Herbstfreude' (or 'Autumn Joy') and H. telephium 'Purple Emperor' – with tips on how to prepare the soil so they thrive.
