To the south of the picturesque 18th-century moated manor lies a formal walled garden with colourful borders, roses and wisteria. The vegetable garden is both productive and attractive, with a tapestry of herbs, fruit, veg and flowers. There is also a pretty courtyard garden. Beyond the formal gardens, as a lovely contrast, are woodlands, a nature trail, lake and fish pools – take a relaxing walk to explore or simply find a peaceful bench and admire the views.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
