Surrounded by parkland are eight acres of formal and walled gardens, sweeping lawns and mature trees. Vegetables and fruit trees thrive in the kitchen garden, while the second walled garden is filled with fragrant roses, herbs and vibrant herbaceous borders. There is an orchard, carp pond, wildflowers and a magnificent 200-year-old cedar of Lebanon tree.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
