The Firs – Elgar’s Birthplace

The Firs – Elgar’s Birthplace 2-for-1 entry

Get one free entry with one full-paying adult, with your Gardeners’ World Magazine 2-for-1 entry card. Valid at 461 gardens.

Roses, peonies, lupins, mallows, lavender, tulips and more fill the borders of this cottage garden. Apple and pear trees provide blossom and fruits, and there’s a shady woodland walk. In keeping with this relaxed setting, a statue of Sir Edward Elgar sits on a bench, contemplating the fine views of the Malvern HIlls.

Important update

With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, gardens in the 2-for-1 directory are beginning to open.

To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limiting the number of visitors.

Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.

Please note: we’re unable to keep all individual 2-for-1 garden pages updated, but we will publish the latest details that we have on our weekly updates page from week commencing Monday 8 June, 2020.
