Created by art historian, writer and landscape designer Sir Roy Strong and his wife Julia Trevelyan Oman as their private garden, it is a tapestry of beautiful and richly planted individual gardens within a formal framework of clipped hedges, vistas, statues and topiary. Remarkable, inspirational and uniquely autobiographical, the four acres are full of colour from spring to autumn, including tulips, apple blossom, roses and perennial borders.
