In the formal gardens you’ll find a hornbeam cloister walk, wisteria-clad pergola, delphinium border, old roses and the world’s tallest box hedges. In summer, the terraces are a blaze of colour and offer views of the castle, river and suspension bridge. Beyond these is a natural landscape with a lake, rivers and waterfall.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
