Danger, mystery and beauty combine in this diverse series of gardens. Enter the poison garden if you dare, to see some of the world’s most toxic plants, including mandrake and opium poppies. In the rock close, you’ll encounter ancient yews, giant-leaved gunnera, druidic stones and the magical wishing steps. There’s plenty more too, including a jungle, bog garden and woodland walks, not to mention the castle’s famous Blarney Stone.
Important update
With the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, gardens in the 2-for-1 directory are beginning to open.
To ensure the safety of visitors and staff, many have special measures in place, including pre-booking and limiting the number of visitors.
Before visiting a garden, please contact the garden directly to determine their opening status and any restrictions that may apply.
Please note: we’re unable to keep all individual 2-for-1 garden pages updated, but we will publish the latest details that we have on our weekly updates page from week commencing Monday 8 June, 2020.
