One of Ireland’s oldest walled gardens, dating from the 18th century, it continues to evolve today, with imaginative displays that burst with colour from spring to autumn, beautiful water features, a new woodland walk, restored glasshouse, and vegetable, fruit and herb gardens. The grass mount, created 15 years ago, gives panoramic views of the garden, castle, surrounding estate and the sea.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
